Nursery Admissions - age 3/4
Nursery Spaces 2026/2027
Children born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023 can start in September 2026 in the Nursery, and parents will be able to apply from 16 January to 3 April 2026. Attendance at a school nursery class does not give priority for admission to the Reception class at the same school when your child reaches school age.
Parents will be able to apply directly via the Mayplace website using a link to an online form. This will be available from 9am on Friday 16th January. If you require a paper copy of the admission form, please request this via admin@mayplace.bexley.sch.uk.
Once you have submitted an admission form, please email a photograph of your child's birth certificate or passport to admissions@mayplace.bexley.sch.uk as well as proof of the parent's address. Proof of address should be a council tax statement, utility bill or bank statement dated within the last 3 months. Please note that we cannot accept a mobile phone bill or driver's licence as proof of address. If you would prefer not to email these documents, please bring the originals with you to the Mayplace school office and we can make a photocopy for you.
Offers of places to on time applicants will be made in April 2026.
Please be aware that we have a limited number of 30 hour spaces available to offer. There will be a separate process to apply for these additional hours, once the deadlines for admissions has passed. All successful applicants will be emailed with a link to an additional form on Tuesday 21st April, on which parents can provide an indication of their preferred nursery sessions and make a request for additional hours.
These spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis in accordance with our admissions policy. This policy can be found on our school website.
