At Mayplace, we really value our many parent helpers. They provide much support to our community and we always welcome any new parents or carers who would be interested in supporting our school.

To become a parent helper, a DBS is required and this needs to be obtained by paying for the DBS check on our online payment app. Once paid for, please email the school office so they can arrange for your DBS link to be emailed to you. 

Parent helpers also need to attend a Parent Helper Meeting and these are run at various times throughout the year.

Our parent helpers support the teachers in various ways such as helping to run clubs, reading with children, preparing classroom resources, creating learning displays and much more.
