At Mayplace we believe that from the Early Years through to Year 6, the Art & Design curriculum enables the children to engage and think freely. We want the children to be challenged, inspired and creative in many ways so that they can see and interpret the world and to celebrate all perspectives in the ever changing times ahead of them.

We want the children to believe in themselves as artists and to enjoy creating and exploring a broad and balanced art curriculum. It is important for us to focus on the children’s development process within art and to help support children to overcome future fears or negative thoughts about art.
