At Mayplace we recognise that in a fast pace and ever-changing world, geography is an invaluable subject to peak the curiosity of children about the world and how to develop as a global citizen.

Our geography curriculum allows all children regardless of their prior experiences, the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the next step in their education. Our curriculum is based upon the core skills from the National Curriculum. We build upon this knowledge to support the children in having a sense of place where they can emotionally connect, raise questions about different values and consider their opinions within a complex world.
