At Mayplace, we provide an exceptional learning environment, in which every child, family and staff member can thrive and can reach higher than they ever dreamed possible. It is our mission to inspire every child to be excited to come to school every day and for all families to want to send their child to school.  

All the learning at Mayplace is underpinned by the fundamental knowledge and skills of reading, writing and maths. Our carefully-designed pedagogical approach ensures that every child learns to the best of their ability and goes beyond expectations, removing barriers and supporting children to achieve their potential in every year of their time with us, leading to the highest outcomes possible at the end of their journey at Mayplace. 

Our meaningful and relevant curriculum is carefully mapped to maximise progress and ensure that every learning step is precisely considered and builds on the last and towards the next. Four golden threads run through our curriculum: Inclusion, outdoor learning, global citizenship and philosophy for children. Our children feel a strong sense of belonging in their community, are part of a global community and make a difference in the world in which they live.

Through a breadth of clubs, trips, visitors, events, access to unique spaces and more, our enriching school experience encourages children to embrace new possibilities, securing bright futures for all.

We do all we can to engage with our families, inviting them into school, making them part of our journey and ensuring that the partnership is strong between home and school so that every child can excel. We are a true community hub and are there for anyone in need.
